Shillong – Kaziranga Tour

Day 1 : Arrival at Guwahati and Transfer to Hotel.
Meet your driver on arrival at Guwahati Railway station or Airport and start yur jurney towards Shillong which is also known as “ Scotland of East”. On the way if time permits you can enjoy at Umium lake which is situated in a pristine surrounding. In the lake you can enjoy boating ( direct payment ). Check-in to hotel upon arrival in shillong. Rest of the day free to explore  the market on your own. Overnight  at Shillong.

Day 2: Day tour to Cherapunjee
After breakfast, start your day tour of cherapunjee which is famous as the wettest place on Earth.  You will be visiting Mawkadok View Point, Wakabha Falls, Noh Kali Kai Falls, Eco Park, Mawsami Cave and the famous Noh Sngithiang Falls (Seven Sister Falls) which is one of the highest waterfall in india. Evening return back to shillong. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Shillong Local sightseeing
After breakfast we will go for exploring shillong visiting Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Lady Hyderi Park, Golf Course, Cathedral Church, State Museum, Don Bosco Museum and Ward’s Lake where you can enjoy boating on direct payment. In the evening you are free to explore the market of shillong on your own. Overnight at hotel in shillong.

Day 4: Transfer to kaziranga.
After breakfast we will start our journey towards kaziranga, the famous wild life sanctuary for One horned Rhino.you can spend some  time in  Umium lake before leaving the Scotland of East. Check-in hotel in kariranga. Evening free to explore the place on your own. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Elephant and Jeep Safari
Early morning go for Elephant Safari visiting  the  kazirnaga National park and avail the opportunity to see the wild animal from the back of Elephant. Return back for breakfast.  Later in the afternoon,  go for Jeep safari visiting deeper inside park. Apart of One horned Rhino you can also view hog deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, wild elephants and if you are lucky you can also came across a tiger. You can explore the nearby area on your own in the evening. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 6: Transfer to Guwahati
After breakfast, start your return journey towards Guwahati, if time permits, you can visit Balaji Temple and kamakhya Temple before boarding train or  flight for your return journey.
